The H9720 / H9730 / H9740 Encoder Sensor Cable is a precision sensing component used in compatible inkjet printing machines and digital printing equipment. The assembly combines an electronic encoder sensor/read-head board with a wired connection and multi-pin connector for integration with the printer’s motion-control system.
During printer operation, the encoder sensor reads positional information from the corresponding encoder strip or grating system. This information allows the machine controller to determine the movement and position of the print carriage, helping maintain accurate print-head timing, alignment and consistent printing operation.
